FWIW I like the cowl hood a lot also. In fact, it probably has some functionality in that I think I have seen some info that suggests it can lower temps under the hood.

I ordered the Stull billet grills in black today. We'll see how it all looks and change it if I don't likey .

You do know that GM had the Eaton on the Pontiacs before Ford put them on the Lightning too. LOL

Just busting your chops because of the statment:
I never understood why people would put a cowl hood on a ford truck, when the cowl induction hood was a GM/Chevy design

LOL yes Bruce I did know that GM was using the little baby Eaton (the M90) on their little GTPs long before 1999

chop-busting is allowed I guess

oh and P.S. sometimes I do tend to drift off into my own world...thats ok, they know me there

Yeah, but didn't the T-bird have it before Pontiac?

All right!!!! We found some new things to have wars over :

Hoods & OEM suppliers.

Isn't the Shraeder (sp?) valve the one universal part found on all cars? And isn't Henry given credit for starting the mass production of autos.....all of them had/have shraeder valves.
