Are you going to the Rod Rod Power Tour next Wednesday at RRR? I will be there representing.

alrighty... about to go to bed.. truck is still at the shop.

they charged me 225 + shipping for a new set of FMS 3.73's & 1/2 hour labor to install, since the old gears are out.

bad news.. 180+ in just parts.. at cost +20% (i got the hookup)
labor is over $600!!! crap.. it was a lot to do.. take out the gears, axles, seals, ect...

he found a worn bearing & leaking seal on the passengers side axle, so he's replacing the bearing.. the noise i heard was from the carrier (?) bearing.. its the main one.. it was chewed up..
had to take everything out just to get to it..
looks like i'll be out the door for a little over $1000.


crap. good thing i didn't buy that nitrous system i saw at WFC6.

gotta send the chip back to sal for a fresh burn now..

JD: it doesn't look like i'll be going.. i'll have to work to pay for this little adventure. maybe next time..
