What are the odds?

Hey has anyone else noticed how The Ford lots have an unusually excessive amount of Ford Trucks, even lightnings on hand? I checked with 10 dealers that are with in 5hrs of me and found 40 lightnings..

I was wondering if anyone thinks they might have some good intrest rates on the Lightning?

If not what type of intrest rates are people getting from Ford on these? What are you getting at Credit unions and banks?

Thanks
Chris

Yeah that's what I was wondering if anyone else thinks there is a good chance they will... or if there is a nice ford representative that would like to give us a hint.. that would be nice.. also if a nice ford rep would like to slip me an A plan ticket that would be great too

SVTLightning02,

Dude! You're getting ripped (don't know your credit rating, though)...

But, I'm at 5.45% at 5 years...with a decent throw-down.

My immediate goal is to pay it off early.

Your credit score determines almost all bank rates, and pretty much anything over 700 will get you in the 4’s for a five-year loan.

I managed to get 4.99% for 72mo. thru my credit union on my L last June. Full coverage insurance thru Allstate w/ 100/300/100 500coll/100comp/towing/rental is only 75.00 a month.

Yep, credit rating's where it's at !

That's the deciding factor, for the most part.

Do you mind me asking your age? I'm 23 so still have the outrageous insurance... however insurance lady told me my insurance would go down from the 190 a month for a Mustang GT to 150 0r 170 a forget which.

Also my credit rating is a 700

After looking for an L at two local dealers that both said no way to 0% and included a $3k over sticker "Premium Vehicle Charge". I finally found a dealer that gave me 0 down and 0% on my L for 36 months. This was in October of 2001. Best new vehicle purchase expierence I ever had.
Dealer is Don Gasgarths' Ford

4.15% over 60. As I mentioned before start with a online financer (sp) and let the dealer work a better deal. Thats what they do.
