I have to disagree with some of you its not about the credit rating. Its on how hard the salesman works for you and how bad he want to sell you the truck. Im 23 years old and I managed to get the saleman to get me a 3.9 APR for 72 month loan on a 03 L.
Dont give up I walked away from 4 dealerships before I got one to work with me. I have a buddy who sells chevy cars and he helped me haggle at the dealerships. Just tell the dealership you want 3.9 APR or you will walk away if he cant get it. Then walk away he will call you back.

seems right... dont remember exactly what my rating was, but my credit union let me glance at the report they ran, and it was in the mid 700's, and I got 3.99% for 5 years (.25% off for signing up for automatic payment from my bank account from them)

Dude! You're getting ripped (don't know your credit rating, though)...

But, I'm at 5.45% at 5 years...with a decent throw-down.

My immediate goal is to pay it off early.
I just brought with me a big garbage bag full of mixed bills...

I have 1 wreck on my record that is my fault no tickets except the one from that wreck... have 2 since xmas that weren't my fault... (thinking the Mustang is a cursed car, people cant seem to see the Bright performance red . .. and want to get a L) I'm still waiting on the settlement from the wreck that happened in Jan. that is the only chance I have in getting one.

Hey has anyone else noticed how The Ford lots have an unusually excessive amount of Ford Trucks, even lightnings on hand? I checked with 10 dealers that are with in 5hrs of me and found 40 lightnings..

I was wondering if anyone thinks they might have some good intrest rates on the Lightning?

If not what type of intrest rates are people getting from Ford on these? What are you getting at Credit unions and banks?

Thanks
Chris
Received a 4.9% loan / 60 months from Capital One last week on my '03 L. Took one 5 min. phone call by the dealer to Capital One and I had the loan. Scary how fast they will let you borrow $30+ grand. Oh, top notch credit and 54yo.
