Drop Shackle Installation Tonight - Quick Question

I dont have jack stands tall enough that will allow me to get to the frame. Would two points on the trailer hitch under the truck work OK. Any suggestions? TIA

No.........you need to support the frame then support the rear end seperately. You are literally disconnecting the rear from the rest of the truck (well at least at 1 point).

I simply slid a concrete block under each jack stand to cure the height issue. Worked great. Just another idea.

Got them installed. Took about an hour or so. Easy job once i figured out that i didnt have the truck high enough in the air to unload the springs. Thanks for the info!
