BLUE OVAL PERFORMANCE is the answer

How would you like fast frendly service?

How would you like to be able to talk with the person you are buying from for as long as you wish?

How would you like excellent pricing on the most common lighting performance accesories?

How would you like to be able to TRUST your personal vendor?

Well i found the solution.

theres the only answer you need.

Just thought id give credit where credit is due. When i have a good experience,I like to share with others so certain vendors can get the business they deserve for having great customer service.I just ordered a Air intake kit for $99 which is pretty much the same as ones sold for double the price daily...........He's a great guy to talk to and deseves to grow to become a "major" lightning vendor.

So far I have delt with :
SAL (just questions)
JDM (flip chip)
JL (4LB pully)
Blue oval performance (air intake)
factory tech (questions)
in the last month and incredibly Ive had awesome customer service with all this time

I hope us lightning owners start getting the custmer service we deserve cause there is more competition out ther now Like B.O.P

Also heres some math for ya.
I spent less than $700 to run 12.7s@105

After next week,I will have MUCH less than $1000 into my truck and I will have
chip/4lb pully/intake/valvebody/TR6s

I could have spent over $1430 on the same mods if I didnt shop around.Thats almost $500 worth of savings by smart shopping.

Ive spent

Isn't "that BOP guy" Mark from LFP?

The I know that LFP's Mark has a different last name, but the sites have very similar product lines and approaches. Is there any relationship between the two?

LFP:

Part Name: LFP Quick Change lower pulley kit (one)
Desciption: LFP is proud to announce the introduction of our long awaited "Quick Change" interchangeable, lower pulley kit. LFP's new kit includes a billet HUB which replaces the stock crank pulley and is used for mounting your billet pulleys. Kit also includes your choice of (2/4/6 lbs) billet pulley ring. LFP calls it a "Quick Change" because, by simply dropping SC belt and backing out 6 Allen bolts one pulley can be exchanged for another. Total down time is a mear 8-10 min. Maybe use one pulley for the street and one for the strip. Warranty work is not a problem with LFP's kit. Stock cage and stock pulley assembly are removed and can be mounted back on your truck. LFP's kit also includes; Your needed converter lockup tool. This tool keeps engine from turning over during removal of stock pulley. A 14 mm Allen socket to take stock pulley off, a set of 6 Allen bolts and a 8 ribbed Goodyear GatorBack Belt, to insure no slipping and a long trouble free life. Expected gains from the 4 pound pulley is 40 lbs.-ft. torque and 15 HP. Expected gains from the 6 pound pulley is 50 lbs.-ft. torque and 18 HP Pulleys and HUB are custom machined using light weight billet aluminum. Works well with the Gen 2 Lightning and the supercharged Harley trucks.

BOP:

Lightning Quick Change Lower Pulley Kit - Double
We are proud to offer the "Quick Change" interchangeable, lower pulley kit. Our new kit includes a billet HUB which replaces the stock crank pulley and is used for mounting your billet pulleys. Kit also includes one 4 pound billet pulley and one 6 pound billet pulley. That's right, 2 pulley for the price of one. We call it a "Quick Change" because, by simply dropping SC belt and backing out 6 Allen bolts one pulley can be exchanged for another. Total down time is a mear 8-10 min. Maybe use one pulley for the street and one for the strip. Warranty work is not a problem with our kit. Stock cage and stock pulley assembly are removed and can be mounted back on your truck. Our kit also includes; the needed converter lockup tool. This tool keeps engine from turning over during removal of stock pulley. A 14 mm Allen socket to take stock pulley off, a set of 6 Allen bolts and a 8 ribbed Goodyear GatorBack Belt, to insure no slipping and a long trouble free life. Expected gains from the 6 pound pulley is 50 lbs.-ft. torque and 18 HP Pulleys and HUB are custom machined using light weight billet aluminum.

The descriptions are the same, right down to the incorrect punctuation.

Mark from BOP is in Florida I believe, Mark from LFP is in TX. BOP is a reseller of LFP's stuff, so the sites mimic each other. That's about all I know.

Yeah, if you look at the page on the BOP site, their description of the E-Fan is a dead give-away:

A factory look!! 18" dual speed electric fan mounted in a stock Lightning fan shroud. A factory look and feel with ease of installation in mind with our new plug & play wiring harness. Utilizing waterproof relays,LFP has designed a harness that will mount under hood with relays safely behind stock relay cover on fire wall behind battery. Kit is also complete with A/C hookup, 180* thermostat and a high speed over ride switch that mounts inside of cab. Conveniently placed inside so while in staging lanes or returning from your run, cool down is a flip of a switch away. No need to park and pop hood.

Umm and your point Nathan?

Do you like paying higher prices for the same parts? If so, knock yourself out. However, alternatives make modding your lightning more forgiving when it comes down to your wallet.

I think what i respect most about BOP is calling JJ SVT out on his price matching. Needless to say, BOP offered a product for $190 where as JJ was selling it for $279. JJ never did match the price.

I also like the fast shipping and the fact you can talk to him without being rushed off the phone.

Just bought an exhaust from Mark (TX) and I'm all for lower prices. But, with all the re-selling of parts going on its sometimes good to know the origin so you can compare apples to apples.

All i see BOP doing is taking advatange of one vendors good product inventory and name and making accessible to the other side of the US. No one likes delays in shipping.

Im surprised the top 3 vendors of the L community have done nothing to spread their parts out to the West Coast.

I see more non vendor parts on trucks out here then the people back east. I also believe only JDM is willing to take the trek out to CA for FFW while others say there is nothing out here for them
