Wide, grey, etc for the L?

 

Uhh dont know about the console..but that price seems high..I would search a salvage yard!!

 

That's the older model, with the small console, for seats with armrests. The one everyone wants is the one with the larger one... Also, they can be had for cheaper than that.

HI!... WOW that's expensive. I picked up a dark graphite EXPEDITION center console in the exact same shape as that one for $75.00(CAN) about $55.00(U.S) from a local junk yard. It took me 2 years of looking but finally got the one I wanted. I got the skinnier style because I have captains chairs with armrests.

 

No question, that's the thin console. You can really tell in this picture:

 

That console must be lined with gold

this is gonna be one of my next mods to my L.

 

Got mine center console and overhead console for $150 shipped back in January.

 

Why does anyone want a center console at all? Isn't it just additional performance reducing weight?

 

It's about the same weight once you modify the passenger seat to be a bucket. Plus it looks great, it is functional, relocates the CD Changer so you can actually load CDs without getting out of the truck, and adds storage space. Oh, and you can mount your DVD player inthere too . IMO probably the best mod I have done. As soon as I saw Vinnie's at the track right after he got it done, I had to do it.

 

Unless you carry more than one person on a given day, it is a nice mod but, a truck is a truck that is mean to be used.


You could always get an onboard truck CPU.
