Questions:

(1) Where?

(2) Why did you swap out the overhead console?

(3) How did you go about moving the A/C wiring to overhead?

Thanks

Plus it looks great, it is functional, relocates the CD Changer so you can actually load CDs without getting out of the truck, and adds storage space. Oh, and you can mount your DVD player inthere too . IMO probably the best mod I have done. As soon as I saw Vinnie's at the track right after he got it done, I had to do it.
Well, that was my point. Not shooting for the same weight, shooting for lighter. Take out the stock seats and console and put in a couple of Recaros like Don's and I'll bet you save a lot of weight, nicht wahr?

Tim -

1) local salvage yard had about 3 or 4 of them, but only let me get one. I tried to get them to others, but it didn't work out.
2)I want to put a screen up there. If I do not do that I will probably put some guages in the location of the rear AC controls.
3)I didn't, so I cannot help you there.

Vinnie -

Nice Harley Lid. Mine isn't just leather, it is the same material that is used in the seats. It really ties it all together.

Thumbs up dam nice consoles

I would love one of those in my truck but I think im out of luck because of the following snags

1. I have a 60/40 split bench
2. I have shift on the fly 4X4 shifter right there.
3. The install looks tricky

Is it impossible?

Jim

Cool

HI!... I got a EXPEDITION center console for $75.00(CAN) and a "02" OVERHEAD console with LCD display for $450(CAN) at a local junk yard. Install was simple. Here's a few pics :
