Either the chip isnt set in right,

the cpu and the harness are not all the way connected

or maybe the contacts need more cleaning

Some suggestions. Good luck

Pretty sure the terminals (contacts) are not clean enough yet.

You need to reclean the contacts, seat the chip securely and tape it.

If your truck is an 03 and your chip is a PSP 4-way you need to call Sal. They are having a problem on the 4-way chips (I think it's only on the 03's). I cut my wires close to the chip (not too close)and it has not happened again. Sal will tell you what to do and make it right when they find out what is causing this.

Thanks Blowntruck for the advice. Cleaned the circuit board 3 more times and still no good. Truck runs when the chip is turned in the "off" position, but nothing when activated. Any chance the toggle switch might be bad? My brother's '03 Cobra had a diablo chip but with no toggle switch. No problem with his. This is like the 5th one that I have done, another '01 Lightning and several Cobras. This is the first time that I have had problems, but why my truck.

if you still get a problem, run a search, remember about a year ago a thread about leaving the keys in the ign. and reconnecting the bat

Just talked to Jeff(Sonic03) and he has a Diablo with a 3-way switch. He's cleaned and installed several chips before, so I(and he) don't think it's a cleaning problem. I recommened he send it back to REM and get a hold of Tim.

Dang, since this is not your first time it might be the chip then. Send it back to where you got it and see what happens.
