Well I think the BOP filter kits sucks and that Mark has terrible service. He charged me before he shipped the filter and then I didnt get it until 6 weeks later.

Oh Wait.......that wasnt Mark....its the guy I used to buy from!

82 bronco kid, the funniest part is that it's not even the manufacturers name, all the kits are made by metco.

Will this filter work with my 80mm pro m mass air.... It doesnt look like it will.... I've been meaning to upgrade to a 90mm mass air and boot, but haven't yet. Is that something I need to do b4 I order the filter?

Here is a pic of my pro M, all I'd like is a bigger filter.

Your right it is the $159 one from BOP that is the same as the $199 one from JDM.

On the BOP $159 one you are only spending $59 extra for a $10 sensor and a 18 cent piece of foam.

On Jdms you are paying only$99 extra for a $10 sensor and a 18 cent piece of foam

Just get the $99 while they are still $99!!!! with all this talk about them,They will probally go up to $129 or something and well worth it!

not true. the two filters are different. the $99 one the flat side of the filter is a flat piece of plastic. on the $159 or the JDM one there is a small filter on the side of the flat part to make that $.10 piece of foam functional. it takes air from your fender. thus making it a COLD AIR intake.

Wizechef:

The filter from the 99 kit has the open end. If you really want it to use the worthless fender hole that badly, go to home depot and spend less than a dollar on the foam.

So sad, only 11 posts and already a

MISTERgadget, sorry i just signed on to this site 2 days ago and i "only have 11 posts". that doesnt make me stupid. do you really think BOP would be that stupid to charge people $60 extra just for the peice of foam?? the filters are different. you can clearly see it on the site. and whats the whole thing about calling me a JDM cheerleader?? just beacuse i live 10 min away from them and they are real friendly with great service doesnt mean im on their d**k. when i was down in FT lauderdale i had Razors Edge work on my truck. they were nice too, with great prices. now when it comes to MAC... did you see thier peice of S**t cat-back exhuast for $250 all over ebay?? all im sayin is "you get what you pay for!" there is no need to talk s**t just cause im new here. if you came over to FTW i would have treated you with the up-most respect. regardless of what you said!!

wize
