ram air into a stock airbox?

what if someone were to put a scoop under the front bumper, connected to 3" hose and then fed the stock airbox with a k&n?

Would it cause the truck to go lean? As long as it was not at WOT and remained in closed loop, I would assume the 02 sensors would compensate. At WOT, on the other hand... I don't know.

feel free to respond with your technical thoughts.
