Just wondering if anyone has tried these yet. I have always had the most success in the past with my modded stock airbox.

I ordered one a month ago.......still waiting! Supposedly on the way. I have a new Swanson kit I'm selling. The open filters make too much blower noise for me.

I'll re-post the difference when it arrives. I'm running a 6# lower, 4-way PSP chip, and the stock air box is on for now.

Wasn't someone on this board putting together a carbon fiber air box for the open filters to shield from heat? Seems like that would have more of a sound dampening effect as well without sacrificing the airflow.

I'm searching for the info now...

This is what I was referring to, but it appears that the box will not be produced in volume and it's not closed, anyway... Pretty cool, though.
