Wow, glad to hear that you are okay Sal. That must have been quite the shocker! I remember when I had a battery explode in one of my vehicles as I went to start it, that being nerve racking, but nothing compared to flames licking up the windshield!!

We have the technology. We can rebuild it. Better. Faster.

...with you still here!

Dan

Glad you got outta there okay Sal. We know you've probably started drawing up new plans for a bigger and badder truck and we're all anxiously awaiting to hear about them!

Hope everything goes well and my apologies on your misfortune

You walked away and in the end, that is all that matters.

Things like this show the reality of the danger that lurks when pushing the envelope.

I say screw the extinguisher and go straight to onboard halon. It may add some weight but you will survive and so will the next truck.

So was it nitros puddling that occured in the lower intake that caused the backfire? We were discussing this same thing this weekend. Time for direct port brother and get back on top!

Take care Sal.

Sorry to hear about the truck Sal but I'm glad you are ok. I don't know what I would do without your sage advice. Your also just an enjoyable man to know. If you need anything from me as far as sheet metal parts I could build to get the truck back together....consider it done.

Hey Sal,

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, Glad you are OK. You'll have it back together soon.

Mark hit the wall last year at Columbus and messed his truck up.

Are you running the newer type prototype Works blower?

Like I told you yesterday, I was horrified when you told me about this... I had a 9sec mustang pull a fire show on me once, I know what that fire on the windsheild is like!

Im glad you were able to get away safe and sound... the truck can be replaced, and will be replaced Like everyone said, time to build bigger and badder...

if you need "anything", dont hesitate to ask.

Thanks for all the support guys, it is much appreciated. The truck is not as bad as it sounds, it just needs some parts replaced. I hope to have it done by WFC, but that depends on what's really damaged when I rip it apart.

To answer the question being asked, I was not spraying through the blower, I had direct port spray bars in the lower intake that shot directly into the intake ports.

Sal I just got back from Texas and this is the first thing I saw. I am glad you are OK and I am sure you will be back in action real soon.

Like everyone else said the most important thing is your OK, the truck can allways be fixed.

Now does anyone have a video of the run??
