Question Thoughts on StreetScenes smooth corners?

I have my truck all apart and started test fitting the pieces, to be honest I am not all that impressed with the fit. I was just wondering for the guys that have got them what they thought. I am really debating on getting a new OEM factory set and having them smoothed. Just wanted to get some others thoughts.

Here are a few pics.

Looks like my truck minus about 17 more parts?
For the best fit you can't beat smoothing the stock parts.

I don't mean to knock Street Scenes because some people would most likely be happy with them. I didn't realize that the only thing that held them on the truck is two sided tape. And on the back ones to get them to fit good on the side you need to put presure upwards on the wrap around part to line them up. How long before that two sided tape gives out and they start coming off? I wash my truck pretty much everytime that I take it out, after a while I would think they would start lifting and then when I do a high speed blast I think I would be going home with some missing pieces. Just my thoughts.

Before installing the Street Scenes parts, I would sand both the underside of each part and the surface that is contacting the truck. Then I would use JBWeld or some other hi-strengh adhesive to stick the parts down with.

Plasic Weld has always worked great for me. AutoZone has it in tubes near the window gasket seals. Stuff comes in a black tube.

I can't beleive they don't have clips on the pannels! I'm glad I didn't wait for those junk pieces!

This might be better posted as a classified, if so, I appologize. I need to have my steps and corners smoothed. To go with the roll pan, mirrors, and wiper cowl. If there is anyone out there who would be willing to make a few bucks, or more than a few...contact me at Mets6986@aol.com.

Thanks
Keith

Update;
The Street Scene smooth corners are going to be ship back. I am going to buy a new set of the OEM side steps and smooth them out. And thanks to a very good friend on this board I am going with the Sir Michaels roll pan and end corners (Thanks Vinnie).
There really is some great people on this board, I also have someone hooking me up with a center console, he knows who he is and thank you too. And I can't forget Justin for getting me another spot on the second batch after I cancelled my spot on the first run.
Thanks guys, MLNIUM will be on the road soon.

I DO like your style, Bill. If it was me all I would want to do is drive my truck non-stop for weeks at a time

But you get your truck back, and your taking the time to "improve" the looks right off the bat!

Josh,
I just went through your gallery, sweet pictures, RobG is one talented man. I just came back from ordering new OEM sidesteps and the tailgate trim piece from the dealer. I will try to do these myself so wish me luck on how they come out, atleast I have the factory take off ones to practice on. lol

Gator,
Thanks buddy, my truck has been up for a while and now there are just too many nice Lightnings out there. I have my work cut out for me to bring my truck to the next level, but it will be fun trying.
See you Jersey dudes on my next trip down, and it will be my first time testing her at the track too, so I am looking forward to the trip. I figure since my truck is still heavy 4840 and becoming heavier that the smooth pieces should help me cut through the air better, or something....lol
