I have the smooth side steps. I got them from sweetf150man on fordtruckworld.com. He uses the factory parts sands them smooth and then uses a plastic filler to finish them off. I like how they look. I know it may seem pricey but they cost 250$ painted to match the truck. Mine matched perfectly. Im sure if you wanted to he could just send them stripped for you to paint at a reduced cost. Good luck with the truck Bill Looks like its comming right along.

I got the smooth ends from sport truck direct and they only had 1/8 of an inch that needed to be fitted, not bad to me...

Like I posted, some people will be happy with them, I wasn't meaning to knock them. The main reason I don't care for them is because all that holds them on is two sided tape. I just like the fact that knowing something is on and on good. The last thing I want is to come home after a long road trip or from racing and be missing something, or having them start lifting.
That is why I am going with the Sir Michaels Roll pan and end caps (thanks to Vinnie) and a set of smoothed OEM sidesteps (Thanks to RobG) I will be much happier going this route.
But all in all if you can get past the two sided tape thing there not to bad.

The end caps I have are by Sir Michaels, you don't have to use the double sided tape either, the guy who is putting mine on is using a urithane to hold mine on. No chances of it flying off with that.

That's cool so you have the Sir Michaels end caps and roll pan too? and then the Street Scenes side steps?
Your truck is going to look real smooth.
And I am glad that the installer is going to be doing something other than the tape for you. But you can't beat smooth OEM sidesteps when the master RobG is doing them for you....
Oh, and you haven't driven with me, if they were only taped on they would be flying off, "the sidesteps that is" ...

Yeah that's what I have but I didn't want the smooth side steps, I'm only 5'2'' so I need to be able to climb on top of the bed to clean the roof of the cab...my truck is black so it doesn't look bad like that at all.

Hey hdmlnium is there any chance of you taking some huge *** pics for my desktop backround? I run 1200x1600 and its hard to find any good high quality ones.

BTW i LOVE your truck, and will give you my 5.0 stang, 1 pinkie, 2 toes, my soul, and my mother for it.

Bill my Street Scene steps and corners did not fit either. My body shop guy essentially refused to put them on. They are going back.

Thumbs up

BlueL,
Thank you so much, it feels great to read things like that.
As soon as I get it painted and put back together I will send you some good pictures.

Calightnin,
That's to bad for Street Scenes, because at first look I thought they were going to be pretty good, I'll be sending mine back as soon as I can make it to UPS.
Looky what came today, (Thanks Vinnie, and Justin) I have been playing around test fitting them tonight. Here are a few pics.

And one more with the tailgate on, I know the gap is crooked, everything is still loose. I just wanted to see how much work it was going to take to line everything up.
