Cool Used 25 gal of fuel in 118 miles..WTF?

Well,I took the truck out over tis past weekend for a drive[Sat.] AND in a hair over 118 miles I used alittle over 25 gal.Just finished filling it back up and I know that I fulled it up before the drive because the fuel was running out of the filler neck.
This is the first time I got a change to really'drive it' since JDM did a super tune on it and put a pulley and heat exchanger on.Boy what a different running truck!
Now the temps were in the 90s' which I am sure affected how it ran but..............................I did forget to mention that the 118 miles was run with an AVERAGE speed of 135.xxx miles per hour.
Yep I ran an open road event in big Bend TX. had a blast fastest placing ford product there and the fastest truck there too.some spots I was over 150 just cruising and and learned alot about areo mods I was cruising at alittle over 140 with just 3 # of boost but when I dropped down to 130 I was running close to 7 or 8.
The truck ran great and I could drive it back in the trailer this time[some of you remember last year ]So i should have a very good year plan on being the fastest gen2,and poss the fastest lightning.and I still run all OBDII compatable systems and have a/c and cruise still working!!
I don't think the stock motor would take this abuse much longer but I know the short block that I received from JDM will along with the rest of his go fast goodies.

Here is a pic of the truck at the staging area and also of me.Stan

forgot to add I finished FIRST in the 135 class!! If anyone would like to see the truck in person I plan on being atHouston for FFW.Look me up at the JDM tent[I think}

Congrads again on the win Stan.

During the last SVTOA on-track event at IRP, my truck chugged 22 gallons in ~125 miles. It was in boost 75% of the time and only reached ~ 120mph on the straight.

Lightning Fest is going to be FUN!

Good job Stan!
btw, cruise control works at 150 so I'm pretty sure it works at 140 as well. Not that I'd ever try it...

Congratulations Stan

Stan,
Have you developed a road racing program with JDM and which pulley are you using?

Way to go

Good job Stan!

I'm hoping to make it to Hallet for the SVTOA event. You going to be there?

I'd like to make it to Houston (in Dallas now). I'll see.

Take care and keep 'er between the ditches!

Ronald
