question about belltech 3/4 drop???

ok i got the belltech 3/4 drop on my L right now but the back sags a little and the fronts not as low as i wanted it. i was thinking about the 2" drop a-arms from sporttruckdirect.com but i dont really want to drop 3 1/2 bills on that.. or should i just take a notch up on the hanger... and how would i do that??? is it just air tools and jack stands or is it more complex?

the hangers are easy to adjust. all you need is a jack, jack stands, and a couple wrenchs. just jack the back up(a decent amount as you will need the axle to be "free floating" in a way) and if you have the hitch still on you can put the jack stands under that. other wise they will need to be on the frame. than lower the jack till the hangers are loose an the axle is "free floating" as i call it. then its just a matter of taking the bolt out and adjusting as needed.

Lightbulb question about belltech 3/4 drop???

svtmike24;

I did same drop but sagged in rear too! Put the stock rear
shackles back on with belltech perches and WA-LA! Perfect combo
that way. Not to low and bed sits level to ground. With small bump stops only hits axle on big bumps. Also launches good at
track!

I agree with Robert B. Chuhran, just put the stock shackles back in, that's what I did too and it looks perfect now. Like you, I would like mine a little lower but this will do for now.
