Anyone with PI Torque Converter

I was told that PI torque converters rattle in park and neutral at idle. Is this so?

I've run them for years and sold dozens of them, and never heard one rattle. I have heard people talk about it, but never heard one myself.

If you can hear something rattle that means your exhaust is too quiet, or something like that.........

I installed a Bassani cat back to drown out the Manley piston noise only to now have a PI Torque converter drown out both of those. This truck may be putting out some serious horsepower but it starting to sound like a freken mixmaster.
I've turned a $30,000+ truck into one quick piece of crap. I can't tell how pi$$ I am at myself.

They used to rattle quite a bit, but the newer ones are pritty quiet. Mine rattled pritty good last year, but I sent it to them this winter and had it updated to this years design, and 99% of the rattle is gone.

So if you get the newest version I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah. I've had two and they both had the rattle at times, but not all the time.

I have a little over 4K miles on my PI 2600 stall torque converter. I does rattle. I have heard others say it rattles and that is the converter I decided to go with. I am happy with the converter and would purchase another.
I do have long tubes, no cats and dual oval mufflers and you can hear the rattle over that.

Thanks Don. I can't stand it. It's one thing to sound like your running a power stroke it's another to sound like your falling apart. People are starting to look in the street for nuts and bolts that have fallen off my truck as I drove by.

That blows man. I would be pretty pissed too. Atleast it is fast and you don't have to worry everytime you step on the gas(atleast you shouldn't have to). Keep your head up! -Mat-

I had the same problem. At stop lights it sounded like half my motor was going to fall on the ground.

Their site lists Lightning Factory Tech Torque Converters.

Anybody have any experience with this TC?

Tim, I am seeking info about a problem I am having. I wish you would stop being a ***** selling product at my expense and misfortune. I didn't post so you could
make a sales pitch. If you want to do that take it to your forum.
