Reichard Racing pulleys for the Kenny Bell

I just talked to Reichard Racing, they will have the new Ultra Grip pulleys for the Kenny Bell blower in a week or two.

This is awesome news since the KB pulleys are the worst pulleys I have ever seen. No more belt slippage, or belts wanting to throw themselves off.

Also I highly recomend their pulleys even if you have a stock Eaton blower on your truck. It is a true masterpeice of a pulley if you ask me.

Thumbs up I got one

I highly recommend them. I had some major belt slippage occuring and the Reichard pulley seems to have cured the problem.

Other than clearance issues why don't we run one of those big *** cogged belts or like a 3 inch wide belt? Too much strain on bearings? or what?

Cogged belts

First I think the Reichard is the hot ticket for upper pulleys but I would recommend using a ribbed belt such as the Gates or NAPA and not the "cogged" type belts. The pictures below occured yesterday during some hard testing, with the Dayco belt I had on, which appears similiar to the Gatorbacks.

The remains:

Don, Mine wobbles a little. I compared to a friends at the track a few weeks ago and it was indentical to his so I figured it was alright??? I would guess maybe 1/64" wobble. I previously had a gates belt on it with no problem but I didn't run it as hard either.

Also, Chikenears sells the Metco idlers. http://www.chikenearsengineering.com

I picked up the Reichard upper from Runnin' With the Devil. www.runninwiththedevil.com/pulley.htm

Not bad, $135, shipped. The thing weighs NOTHING... They have 2.75"-2.9".

Now all Metco has to do is make the idlers for the new blowers both the KB and Works.
