just got new engine put in truck blew last one up drove home from the cealer about 50 miles got home opened garage door started truck and light goes on disconnected battery for a while today i went for a 50 mile cruise stoped to get lunch got back in and started it up and light goes on again went to auto zone had them put the comp.on it and they said it was running to rich on both sides does anybody know how to fix this besides going toi the dealer? it does this with the chip in and out so i dont think that its the chip not pro. right.

Have you disconnected the battery and taken out the chip and tried it?

What other mods do you have other than your chip?

 

Have you done any WOT runs? Try(safely, now!) a few 'short' ones and see if that 'cleans' out the combustion chambers.

The chip was not in it when it happened because I had to take most of the mods off for Ford to warranty new motor. The only thing on it was shorty headers, gear, cat back exhaust, stall, lower pulley. Then I drove home from dealer with that on there, disconnected battery, put on the rest of mods that I had to take off for the factory to warranty new motor and put chip in, left battery disconnected overnight. Went for a 50 mile cruise, shut truck off, turn it back on and light went on. Last motor had NOS, had to take that out for new motor. Do you think the NOS had anything to do with because they only put a short block in and used all the old motor parts. i sold the nos not using juice any more i did'nt install the nos or take it out could there be some thing out of adjustment due to the nos? sorry so long i just want to give as munch info. to see if anybody can help me.

 

i also did a few wot. and 1 or 2 hole shots and it still on .Took on expressway and jumped on it a few times also
