went to the track last nite...

i installed 2" drop shackles and changed my fuel filter on thursday night and went to the track last nite. i lowered my previous best of 13.43 @ 102 down to 13.19 @ 103.25mph.

im knock knock knocking on the 12 second door. cant wait to put the sticker on my truck.

i also lowered my 60' time to 1.9. all 7 of my runs were under my previous 13.43.

Tough to accomplish at that altitude, right? Good luck though.

i added the 90mm maf at the same time i did the new chip, pulley, plugs and intake. so yes, i would say that i like the 90mm up-grade.

i have no idea what kind of gains it gives, but, i was told it would be worth it.

CONGRATS CHRIS ON YOUR BEST ET's YET

Do you still have your hitch on. The reason I ask, is the first few months I had the Lightning and raced it, I was stuck weekend after weekend in a row with 13.1's -13.3's, I took the hitch off before the last attempt of the year, and got my 12 sec run, I've had (3) 12's since. (2)12.7's and another 12.8 "No Nitrous"
But remember, I have a low timing tune and I'm pig rich tuned for 6lbs of pulley but only running 4. Also 2 ranges colder plugs.
I LIKE TO PLAY IT VERY SAFE

Maybe it helped, maybe it didn't, but for guys like me that don't do cool downs, use ice, do weight reduction, prep, etc... it surly helped. Everyone Laughs at me when I tell them how I run the A/C in the staging lanes to stay cool in the summer heat

Last weekend I went to the track and my two time slips are 6 minutes apart and thats only because I had to stop inbetween to check on my kid who was in the stands eating junk food.

yes, my hitch is the only thing of weight still on the rear end. i ran 13.1-13.3 all night. ill remove my hitch next time. also, i have a VERY safe tune. i plan on adding another program soon that will require race gas and more timing. ill get to the 12's soon enough. it just sux that summer is on the way and 12's are going to start gettin more distant.

oh, my 1st 3 runs were within 5 mins of each other. me and 1 othere car were the only ones there for a little while.
