Talking Video Kill vs. Dinan Supercharged M3 and Stock M3

The stock M3 (the one in right-most lane that you can hear downshift first) disappeared from view very quickly, but the blown M3 kept up nicely. I was happy with the performance of my 2001 L (standard bolt-ons).

Excellant video! Can't hear it here at work with no PC speaker but I'll replay it at home.

There is NO WAY that happened! Racing in traffic might be better than racing in a construction zone.

j/k Good job! We needed that after wide open got spanked by a murano...

LOL - good point about the construction zone. They are building an overpass overhead (further down the road of course), but nobody works on it during the weekends. We should have backed off sooner nonetheless, as soon as we saw the orange diamond CAUTION signs.

Bad BMWBig6--------as a construction worker (when I work....hehe) racing in a construction zone.

Good thing there was no P O L I C E nearby, that would have been expensive

I rev the engine when I pass the chain gangs or construction workers. Everyone looks around like something happened...

All kinds of highway construction goin' on around here; new exits being added, concrete grinding on I-75, etc. State signs say "speeding in the work area doubles the fine--minimum fine $100."

Still liked that video

I better photochop.... er "videochop" the orange cones out of the last few frames of the video .... We have so much construction going on too, with many projects taking decades to finish ("mixing bowl" for example), that sometimes you get used to seeing all those orange cones and don't realize they're supposed to indicate a "special" situation. They're pretty much part of the normal scenery around here now, like broken down Dodges in the shoulder.

The BMW club doesn't like it when I come out and play with them anymore.... lol just kidding - they dig the L too!

I'd defintely edit out the last part showing the orange cones...

I live in the Herndon area and I know exactly where that video was taken - Rte 28/Sully Rd going north towards Dulles Airport. I wouldn't want you to get into any trouble!

That looked like a closed road testing circuit to me.

Kinda like the ones with tolls we have here in NJ.

Nice run.
