Sorry, my subscription to this thread was lost and I haven't been on F150 in a while. I moved the video because it was being posted all over the web and I couldn't control who viewed it. I didn't want the authorities to get wind of it, but I think it's too late. I checked my website statistics log, and it was already posted on the CROWN VIC forum (DOHH!!!). So anyway, I'll host it again briefly here:

http://www.gearfx.com/ford/Lightning...rchargedM3.mpg

Just try to keep it off the Caprice Classic or Impala forums please.

Why wouldn't you want it reposted? You can cut out the license plate and no one could prove who's driving...

Wow I forgot all about this old video. Hehe. There aren't too many L's in my area, and some are more "notorious" than others. Just like the redlight cameras... someone is guilty and whoever owns the car gets the ticket and the burden of proof is on them to show someone else was operating the vehicle at the time. Just a hassle eveyone wants to avoid. I thought the tag was blurry enough, but maybe not. Does someone want to edit the vid for me?

Man, that 2001 L was slow! I should see if my friend with the Dinan S/C M3 wants a re-match against my new L.

funny m3 story

So this 19 year old punk rolls to Moroso in S FL with his brand-new parentally provided 2003 M-3 and proceeds to get absolutely decimated by three cars in three different races, (1) 2003 L 4# pulley and chip (Not sure if it could have hung with a stock L), modded 2002 GT, and a supercharged '01 Honda Civic (I hate those things, but that is still impressive.)

Here's the funny part. My friend who works for an auto supply company delivers all over S FL and happened to see the same car (unique aftermarket rims gave it away)two weeks later at the dealership and inquired what the problem was-turns out he installed a freakin 200 NOS shot and dusted the motor on his first run with it installed. The replacement cost for a new BMW motor shipped from overseas? $25,000 big ones. Serves the biyatch right!!

Why? Cause he tried to go big, without putting up the bread. You gotta pay to play right? If people could just slap on two hunnerd horses to race someone with no side effects to the powerplant, then everyone would run nitrous, ungodly amounts of nitrous, all the time. It serves him right for trying to get off the porch and run with the big dogs when he is a pup.
