Touch ups?

There are a few scratches that go passed the clear coat on Snugtop bed cover and below the headlights where the headlight assembly was removed and scratched the paint around the griil/headlight/turn lamp assemblies. What would be the best way to make these scratches disapear? Obviously painting b/c of the depth of the scratch, but is there any other way then going to a body shop and having them repaint these areas? Is there anything that can be done at home?

A good bodyman can do a brush touch up and color sand and buff the area and you'll never know you had a scratch. This applies mostly to solid colors. Metallics, pearls and custom colors dont brush touch well.
