Locking billet fuel-door that isn't electric?

Does anyone have an idea if/where I can find one? Just looking for some "subtle" bling...brushed aluminum to sorta' match the stock '02 wheels.

TIA,

Ronald

Too bad MGW doesn't make one for the Lightning. The one they have for the Cobra is a first rate piece of equipment.

This one from All Sales is about $100. I prefer it over the Ford part because of (1) the 8-bolt design, and (2) the lack of a finger hole (it uses a magnetic latch).

I am going to paint mine all black (incl. screws) in keeping with my stealth bomber motif.

Tim, how does the magnetic latch on the All Sales fuel door work?

That would be ideal for me since I could just go grab it at REM, they carry the all sales billet parts.

Can I get it in a brushed or anodized finish?

Hilander,

Good looking fuel-door!

Also, I LOVE the high-country of New Mex./Colorado. Your L and that scenery looked very good! Do you hunt deer/elk?

Ronald.

Maybe the Cobra door will fit, as long as it doesn't have a cobra engraved on it. I have a Bullit Mustang one on mine and it fits fine.

[to MISTERgadget also] I have not had a chance to get it painted or installed yet, so I can't say how well it works. But it is just a standard cabinet door latch, so if it broke, Home Depot can hook you up.

I'm sure it comes in polished or brushed. Not sure about anodized. But the satin polish on mine leaves a bit to be desired. Much better candidate for painting in my book. I don't have it handy, so I can't take any photos. Sorry.
