Question For those of you who swapped your 99/00 headlights out for the newstyles

I installed the 01 headlights on my 99 friday and it totally changed the look of my truck to excellent..My question is, have any of you guys who done the same ever noticed at night time when going under a bridge the headlights dim a bit? I found it kinda odd and just wanted to know if that is normal?

Yes. It's caused by losing reception from the headlight satellite. Like satellite radio, your headlight signal fades when going under bridges, and near high buildings.

you gotta be kidding me? You mean that the headlights are controlled also by satelite waves?

Seriously?

Thats why you need the headlight booster Kit!! It keeps the signal strong regardless of the location.

you might have some bad halogen fluid, that is why you cant get good reception, it isnt working very well.

I have about a quart left in my garage, first $15 takes it.

damn it

it's the low turn signal fluid again!!!

No, but on a serious not, make sure you adjust them. When I swapped mine, they were all ****-eyed, and i even tried the masking tape-on-the-wall trick to adjust them......ended up just playing with them every time I went out till they were right.

Once you go HID, you don't go back.
