Can anyone advise where to find a BLACK gen2 Lightning die cast preferably 1/18 or larger? I've looked all over...FFW, ebay, etc. and have only been able to find red, gray, or white.

ebay is about the only place you will fine it now (Bburago 1/21 scale in black., 1999 style)

The Yellow version are the only ones still see in retail stores (wal mart)

most of my stuff cam off eBay:
2) Jumbo ones ar Tamiya 1/10 RC's
5) Large 1/21's are Bburago's
2) Medium 1/?? crap i forgot ar Anson's
3) Small ones are 1/64 Tiger Wheels

 

You might watch wal mart etc for the Kit The Black one with the dragons or whatever on it. Just leave those decals off.

 

Where did you get the white one?

Is it just the waterscooter kit, but with the decals left off?

 

The ONLY Lightning model kits and diecasts out there are for Gen 1 (early 90's) and Gen 2 (99-00). There is nothing out there for 2001-02-03 yet.

 

I found a bunch of the 1/43 Bburago kits a few weeks ago. Now I have to paint one each color.....
