Hey Guys and Gals,
Man did I have a great Sat. night at my local track, Jackson, SC.
I was staged against a new SS Camaro. I was going to run him on motor, but a friend came over and told me he was spraying.
We wait in the staging lanes forever at my track, the big racers take priority over us street racers, so I heated up my nitrous bottle while waiting.
We both did a burn out and then pulled up to the lights. He purged his nitrous then I looked over at him and purged my nitrous. His eyeballs looked as big as hubcaps when he saw the nitrous coming out of my dual purge setup.
It was too funny, Thanks Keith.
Anyway, I cut the light on him and walked off, I guess I beat him by at least 10 car lengths, lol. I was stunned to say the least.
I got my time slip and it said 11.92 @ 115.38.
My next run was against a 2002 Vette with Nitrous. I busted his a$$ at the light and walked off from him, I was way ahead of him, so I let off and tapped the brake lights as I went through the traps.
I got my ticket for that run and the 1/8 mile time was 7.636 @ 92.40 and 1/4 mile time was 12.03 @ 97.19. I should have stayed in it, probably would have been a better 11 sec run then my first pass. My 60' was 1.74 on the 12.03 and 1.75 on the 11.92 pass.
I don't spray off the line, I come out on motor for about 60' then hit the Nitrous and I'm running a 100hp NxExpress wet shot.
Thanks JLP, The new Diablo Nitrous program you gave me was a real kick in the butt.
Close to the end of the night, This guy I just met with a 2002 HD came up to me and wants to buy my truck "As Is" with all my mods, What price do you guys think I should tell him? It's going to be hard to part with it, no pun intended. lol
You know I'm waiting on a 2004/5L or I'd have a built motor and KB blower on the L.
One more thing, my truck weighs in at 4862 with me in it. Pretty fast heavyweight Lightning.

I was thinking about at least $34,000 to get mine.
I told him somewhere around $35,000 for my L and he didn't argue about the price. I gave him my number and told him to call me next week for my final price. We'll see if he's all talk.

One thing I wanted to mention.
I run a JLP Outerwear on my Filter and I usually take the Outwear off when I race, just because, but forgot last night.
I looked under my hood this morning and noticed my filter was crushed in like you squeeze a aluminum can. My blower must have really been sucking air last night. Who knows, I may have ran faster if my blower could have gotten more air flow. You know us racers, there's always a reason why we didn't break the World Speed record.
Remember to take your Outerwear off when racing. I like my Outerwear, I thought it didn't restrict air flow, just repelled water.
