DL, What pulleys are you running with the 100hp shot? I just changed out my 75hp jets to the 100hp ones. I hope everything holds up with my 4# lower and 100hp shot. I have ran the 100hp shot 1 time but it was when I was only running a 2# lower. Man the 100hp feels twice as strong as the 75hp shot. I couldn't believe the difference.

Thanks Charlie, Man I really like your checker board paint scheme , Your L looks awesome...

Thanks, Jim@JDM..

Hank, I'm running a JLP #5lb lower and a 1.5-2.0 lb REM Upper pulley. You can definetely feel the seat of the pants with the 100 hp shot.

I really didn't feel the 75 hp shot much either, so I went with the 100 hp on demand.

A friend of mine has been spraying his 99L for a long time with no problems. He has #4lb JDM lower only. It's a White L like Keith's, but it isn't him. I've seen him run a 11.86 at Reynolds with a 100 shot. He uses a NxExpress wet kit and races at a lot of FFW and NMRA events. So far, no motor problems except for had to replace his factory tranny, He bought a Factory Tech Monster box.

Thanks DL. There was a black 99L at FFW that was running a 100hp shot and had over 100 1/4 mile passes on the bottle with zero problems. I think JDM tuned his truck. I am starting to believe that the factory rods are a little better than most people give them credit for. Most people who have thrown rods on the bottle have either ran to aggressive chips or simply ran way too much boost along with the nitrous. If your L is holding up fine with the 5# lower and 1.5-2# upper I think I should be fine with my 4# lower and 100hp shot. I wonder at what point the factory fuel pumps are not going to be able to keep up with the fuel demands?

I've been told by several tuners and drag racing friends that we should be OK spraying a 100 shot with our stock fuel pump and I don't run a very aggressive tuned chip. We'll see...

Hey DL, there is a big difference in the 100 and 150 shot also. Real seat of the pants improvement...
