Lightning Insurance

I was wondering how much is car insurance for a Lightning cost? I'm about to graduate college, and I'm just 22, so I'm sure the insurance is gonna suck I've convinced myself to just get a regular F-150, but if I get a pretty good job, I might splurge

its not to bad really considering what the L can do. I'm 21 right now and mines like 1300 a year which isn't to bad I think.

on the other hand is the bike, OMG anything with a crotch rocket tag on it and a 1000 cc to boot is crazy!!!! cheapest I found was 3700 a year for full coverage!!! needless to say I didn't bother with the full coverage. I'll take my chances and save 3400 a year!

rtkilla,

Woah woah, ive been thinking about a bike but i always though insurance would be cheap. So your saying that full coverage is 3700 but liability is a mere 300 a year? And all the milage too boot. man i want bike.

Bikes are nuts, when I had my Gixxer 750 the cheapest was $1300/yr. If you have no experience and under 30, they will ream you a new one . After the first year it went down to $800/yr but still.

A few things you can do to get some discounts are, join the AMA(~$45/yr) and good for a 5% discount(depending on state).
Get a cheap alarm ~$100 to get around 10% discount.
Take the MSF course, one more discount.

I'm 21 and live in Florida, I pay $207.00 a month for full coverage. Only 2 tickets that showed up were damaged parts( Tint Is Illegal).
