Bad as L

The dia. is 11.5" and yes the supercharger builder was well aware of the size of the crank pulley and size of the upper pulley. However, I have 2 other pulley that we will be testing also to help find the sweet spot for the supercharger.
I just put the biggest on to raise a few eye brow's!

gtoguy1967,

I am located in Bridgeport, MI but I work in Romeo, MI that's 32 miles out of Detroit.

Thanks for all of your imput guy's and Gal's

Suavy

Suavy,
The engine looks great, and that is one big a$$ pulley..
Running 26 pounds of boost or so and you should have no problem getting the 10 second runs that you are after.
Again, very nice work over the winter, I am sure you are going to have a great summer.

Thanks for your kind words! It has been a tough road but as you well know when youre trying to move forward there are and will always be some set backs.

I have to get this thing together and tried out. I have a small fortune invested and would love to see some returns from it. However, if I fall on my face I'll dust my self off and try again.

Peace, Jeronimo

HOLY JESUS?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

What did you do, remove the spare, and use the rim as a pulley????

You could realistically use a 12" rim from the early 80's Datsuns and Toyotas!!

In all seriousness, that is a sick beast you got there............I wish you luck, and can't wait to see your numbers..........Congrats......you, my friend, have joined the list of "Lightning Pioneers" with this creation.

Whats the best way to route those tranny lines? I havent started moving them yet but know that I have to.

I am also adding a tranny fillter as per Dr. Evans

That's the first lower I've seen that REQUIRES the use of an E-fan.

Look at the size of that lower pulley! Are you sure you didn't put the flywheel on the wrong end of the motor?

lurker,

I am runing a chiller box made by a non tuner and will be adding a E-fan to help keep it cool. However we have a trick up our sleve on keeping the heat down to that thing!

Yeah, only run it in the dead of winter. Dumb statement, but I sure hope you studded the block so the heads will stay on.

What type of head gasket are you using at that pressure?

We are using the new style factory head gaskets and yes we did stud the heads. I am staying home from work tomorrow in hopes to have it finished. I will let you know what it runs. I have to get my tunning done first and it looks like next week for that.

I see you also have a electric water pump on the new motor, I have one too and it is working awesome for me.

I wish you all the best with the new motor and I am sure we will see some fast runs with the new monster.
