No offense taken.

I actually admire anybody who thinks outside the box and makes it work.

I do not want you to think I was jumping on him. I was just stating the 10 sec. thing.
I have seen your race cars , So you know full well that at the track the B.S. walks and the numbers talk.

I would love to see that Harley run a 10.

On saturday I drove straight from work (in my dress clothes) on the off chance Dons or Kevins truck would run a 10.

Hope that was informative enough.

Why didnt you just use a Lightning computer and harness? Seems that the COP would be better than the DIS system.

you cant be serious when you think your Harley brick will run 140mph in the 1/4 are you? You can do all the math you want, but until you take it to the track and prove it, its all talk.

you are still trying to sell it arent you?

Does it have tags? Lord knows its not legal.

Why do you say it's not legal? There probably aren't too many trucks on this sight that are totally legal..

I have no doubt that if the Harley has Cat's on it, it would pass emissions. There's a T76 Q-trim on a Gen 1 that passes emissions even better then a stock truck..

One big difference I see here is that REM never said they had a 9 second race truck.... They have only said they are shooting for 9's when its completed.

I don't even think THEY mentioned anything about their truck......It was the curious Georges down here in South FLA (yes, myself included), that let the cat outta the hat when we saw it at the shop..................I mean, if your jaw drops at the sight of a possible 1000 HP L, aren't you gonna go run tell someone about it???

I sure as hell did................but I don't think I posted about it........

jc

BTW...........I don't care if the HD truck goes 12's or 9's...........The engineering and craftsmanship that's gone into it earns my respect, and should earn a lot of other's respect too!!

And one more thing,I will show up anywhere you want with my truck and I will put $5000.00 on the fact that my daily driven, ungutted, fully loaded passenger vehicle will run from your race truck any day of the week.

YOU TELL'EM JAMES!!!

so you take your HP numbers and put them down and then get the 1/4 mile time?

if you can do that then im gonna throw a V903 engine from a Bradley (825 HP, stock) into a Ranger

punch in your calculations, whats that, a 7 second truck? its got all that HP, but until i run it, its still just a ranger.

My ranger can beat your harley.

Plain and simple, I have ZERO respect for anyone that lies, cheats or steals. If you build a truck and have to take part in shaddy action to accomplish that goal, I wouldn't give a rats *** if it runs a 10.xx or not, its pure chit.

"With all tihs talk of "stolen" parts, I have a question for Johnny and Jim.

Why would you send parts to people who havent paid for them first?

I sure as hell know if I called up any of you, said I wanted/needed several grand in parts, but I had no money, I would be told to come back when I had money.

Makes you think all there stories of "so and so owes me money" is a bunch of BS."

Guy's No flame inteneded but I do want this to be known!
JLP, does invest in projects that they think are worthy! Sue and Johnny invested knowledge time and credit to my project. I was straight forward with them and needed some major parts to complete my project. Though, I make a six figure salary I am still a working man! They found my project worthy and had faith in me they extended me credit and our business is now complete. I am and will always remember those who have helped me.
Thank you Sue & Johnny i appreciate you!
