Friend let me borrow his Programmer

It's a Hypertech Programmer III, he just bought a chip so he let me borrow it for a while to see if i liked it @ all, and if i did he'd sell it to me. I hooked it up already, and adjusted the Shifting Firmness. Anyone else have one of these things? It says I can change the rev, but that's unfamiliar to me. Any information would be nice.

thx

Adam

There is a very good reason your friend bought a chip. Box it up and give it back to him. Buy a chip. Much better results. More parameters covered.

they arent safe either....especially if your running a pulley. someone posted a little while ago about ventalating a block because of one. too lean and too advanced timing. unless you know what you are doing then dont use it

Unless you know exactly what you're doing I would stick with a chip and ditch the programmer......
