Mach 1 snack

Thought it would have hung a bit more....from the light several car lenghts back. He pulled up and revved it. It was someone test driving it. Him and the salesman pulled out behind me from the dealer. Nice boss blue color. Uh....my truck is stock except for exhaust and conical. Traction bars and Roush suspension. No motor mods or chips.

Stock for stock it would be a pretty close race. I think with a good driver the Mach 1 would take a Lightning..

Of course this guy was on a test drive so...

i favorite part of the mach, is the shaker hood, and the interior gauges look just like the old school ones.

i got to sit in one and listen to the motor and stuff, it's suppose to be 300hp so i figure put a good after market exhaust on that thing w/ an O/R pipe and it should give us a good run, if we were stock of course.

pretty nice cars, i know a guy that found one on the ford resale lot, 7,000 miles, got it for $21,800.... not bad considering there like 28 or 29K new.

You sure he knew it was a race? 8 to 10 lengths and both of basically stock, that's a big win....................they should perform better than that. or at least I would hope so.......

If i had one, definately a set of 4.30 or 4.56 would be installed first thing. That thing was a total dog off the line.

They run low 13s stock. Evan Smith squeezed out that 13.13. But then again, that guy knows how to drive...

13.20-13.80 stock is what owners are listing on the mach site. depends on where they live. seen 14.6 in CO.

I doubt someone test driving w/sales person in car is gonna really get wild with a new vehicle, especially if he plans on buying it and allowing a few hundred miles of decent break in.

Hehe you shoulda seen my friend row the gears in a used Cobra we took out for a testdrive. The salesman in the back nearly wet the seats after a couple of miles around the dealership! She would keep forgetting the directions back to the dealership so we ended up on some backroad that the salesman barely recognized....
