I'll take it!

Its real easy to forget about the whine when the plugs stop flying from the heads and the rods stop making nice port holes in the block and the oil slick disappears from the air intake. I'll take cubic inches over forced induction of any kind any day of the week.

The plugs fly from NA 5.4s and 4.6's.

The rods break mostly because of improper tune.

The oil slick could have been engineered out.

Superchargers will become more and more popular because of the added power without significant fuel economy penalty.

If you want w(h)ine, I'd recommend this one
Seems to me that there is more potential in the NA 590hp 40v V10 than a SC 500hp 32v V8.

OH MY!

I'll take that engine.

I'd buy another L in a heartbeat.

I agree with todd:
"Its real easy to forget about the whine when the plugs stop flying from the heads and the rods stop making nice port holes in the block and the oil slick disappears from the air intake. I'll take cubic inches over forced induction of any kind any day of the week."

and I also agree with Tim when he sez "...could have been engineered out"

All of the problems could have been avoided with good engineering.

That's why I hope and pray that the V10 is well engineered and does not self destruct.

If it doesn't implode, I'm there!!!!!

Who cares about gas mileage? It's our God given right as Americans to waste as much fuel as possible!

PS. What's up with that wine bottle?...it looks like the opening logo on the old Alfred Hitch**** TV Show (Man am I dating myself or what?)

Opus One.
It is to wines, what the L is to trucks

MT et Streets, his best so far is 10.5 @ 145mph, but he is "getting some work done......hehe" as we speak and will hopefully be the first supercharged only(no nitrous)Viper in the 9's. If anyone is in the Bowling Green, KY area on May 2nd and 3rd, he is hosting the V10 NATIONALS(an all Viper shootout, many, many fast cars). I will post some times after this event, it shoud be very exciting
