Almost Time to See if it Was $ Well Spent

Taking the L up to the mechanic I have do the big stuff Friday. He will be putting in a JLP built short block and a KB kit. Also will be adding 50lb injectors, Denso 22's, and a steering wheel pod with an autometer boost gauge. Have a 2# lower, so hope to be making around 12-14 lbs of boost. Hope I will need the 305 Nitto DR's I got for the rear (actually need help now). Will post some pictures of them and the new chrome reps I got when all is finished. Hope to get it back in a couple of weeks, as he can only fo the majority of the job on weekends.

Holy Cow!!

Is this so you can set a new land speed record to Anchorage or is it so you can get around the blue hairs in the trailers on the Alcon Hwy?

You be flying after this....

Sounds great. I was thinking hard about a built shortblock.........but would need to get a professional install. If you don't mind what is the going price for a shortblock install?

Ya I have to agree with rob, the piece of mind alone will make it worth the cost. Just be careful not to go to agressive on the timong with the KB. It flows a lot of air, so high amounts of timing aren't needed.
