v1 mounting pics?
Have yall checked out the K40, now that is stealthy. Nothing beats that, check out my gallery for picks of it mounted in my truck. I put the control in my overhead consol and the lights behind the clear plastic on the dash. In the gallery look at the armor alled pic and see the clear light underneath the red alarm one thats where I had them mount the mode light. If you do this system have the a ford dealer do it they should sell these in there accessories department mine did. (i.e. these systems are the same ones porsche dealers put in there cars)

I know I have a better picture than this but this is the only one I can find. You can see the right edge of the V1 here
Mine has been installed this way for 3 years. Take the visor clip - Reverse it bend the clip open just a hair, and hardwire the power up the A pillar and into the head liner ( or run power from the console ) and slid the visor clip into the headliner and hook up the power.
The detector stays put, looks factory and is invisible from the outside. The tint strip on the windshield and the tint on my side windows make it almost impossible to see it when looking in the windows

I may be reading this post wrong but my instructions say that the laser mode can be affected by the window tint. This makes me think that there is no way that it will see through plastic. Sorry if I've misread this.
