Go to Home Depot to the oven department and get some Ceramibrite with the pads. Hardly any effort and they look great afterwards. Then kick back and

Actually

I went to Home Depot and got a buffing kit for a drill. it had 3 and 4 inch buffer pads and some compounds in it.. chucked up the right size in the cordless, put it on low speed, put a little compound on it and mine were clean in no time and no work on my part...now I just wash them with the rest of the truck and they stay clean...
this is what works for me... rumor has it that the Ceramibrite scratches the heck out of them..

Ceramabryte doesn't scratch........that ***** works great. Why would a company sell a ceramic cleaner that scratches ceramic.........doesn't make much sense. But like everyone else said.......you should probably be cleaning them on a more frequent basis and they won't get like that.

Or get rid of those ugly ****** and get a new Bassani

Ya know girl....you sure know how to hit me where it hurts... lol

Ok, Ill give ceramabrite a try. As far as how did they get this way, I was forced to drive it like 7-8 times this winter, & although I got it washed, I wasnt gonna stand in 18 degree weather & buff my pipes..(Heh heh..."Buff my pipes"..heh heh). I love my truck....but I love my fingers & skin cells more...

Another urban rumor thats FALSE

I used Ceramibrite when I had the factory exhaust many times with good results. Why not pull the tips and have them chromed or take some money out of the drinking fund and buy the Bassani

once they are clean, you just have to wipe them down quickly at each washing.. won't lose a finger over it

JDM / Magnaflow tips are much bigger than the Bassani, and I also think they look a little bit better.
