Hi everyone!

No, I don't have a lightning, but I have a 4.6 that will most likely be supercharged in a year or two and I need your advice. I just recently picked up a set of JBA Jet Hot shorties from Mike Troyer. The stock gaskets look flimsy, so I was wondering what you all would recommend for header gaskets. Neal has suggested the Ford Motorsport header gaskets, others say stick with the stock JBA gasket, yet others say go with a "dead soft" metal like copper or aluminum.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!!!

 

I have used Mr. Gasket Ultra Seal gaskets on Mustangs and had great results with them.

Right now I am using the stock gasket on the L with the long tubes.
