Intercooler fluid

Is the intercooler fluid just regular antifreeze coolant mixed with water like the radiator fluid ? (half coolant half water?)
Thanks for any info!

Only reason to run anti-freeze in the summer is corrosion resistance, and there's better things for that. Otherwise straight water+water wetter+a corrosion inhibitor is always best..

The Coolant raises the boiling point AND lowers the freezing point. So to say the only reason to run antifreeze in the summer is to prevent corrosion is misleading, if not down right wrong.

It also keeps the parts lubed, keeps deposits from forming that can clog the system, prevents foaming, etc etc
