Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!!!

That is exactly what i said when i saw my truck being worked on at the dealer.
Some of you know that i had some things go wrong with my "L"
"head gaskets, intercooler, the clunk" so i go in to follow up and when i walk in there was the cab hanging 9ft above the open motor and bed the heads were off and eveything was exposed.
i asked the guy why? and he says it's eaiser this way
if i can i will try to find a camera and post pic's it's just weired seing that!

I saw a pic posted in this forum of what you are describing not too long ago, and it was indeed a sight for sore eyes.

it's only 6 bolts holding it on. SVT recommends taking the cab off.

The Jaguar dealership told me that Ford told them they are not allowed to raise the cab to work on the vehicle?

Maybe because their a Jag dealer and not a Ford Truck dealer?

Not at my house but my shop.....and I don't even work on cars!!!

Is it possible for someone to come up with a list on what needs to be disconnected in order to do this. I may be doing my own motor this upcomming winter and would definetely do it this way.

Not sure about what needs to be disconnected. Any techs......???? Chris???
