chip reburn with 410's

I know you need to have the chip reburned to fix the speedo with a gear swap but does the reburn do anything else? Can I drive the truck for a couple of weeks with the 410's without having the chip reburned? Or does the chip have to compensate for anything else? thanks

Yes you can drive it with the 4.10's and your current chip. Your speedo will be off as well as your truck will shift 300-400 rpm's sooner than it should though until you get your chip reburned for the 4.10's!

Are you planning on getting the 4.10's installed soon?

I get paid on Fri, I am going to order them then, probably from LFP, and then Ill see If I can get my brother to install them, he works at a dealership but they are ***** about bringing in "outside" vehicles. If he can't do it I'll shop around for a good install price, I installed my own gears on my mustang but I don't want to mess around on a new truck. It was a toss up between JDM heat exchanger and the gears, I figured I'd do the gears first then get the heat exchanger in a couple of weeks and use up my last free reburn then. I am going to get the truck dyno'd on the 19th, hopefully Ill get high 300's on hp and high 400's on tq. can't wait.
