03's Clunking? Airbag cover?

Just wondering...

Any 03's have the front end clunk? I have not seen any posts about them clunking and people looking for Herb's washers.
Did Ford fix it?

Also I remember reading last year that for 03, the L's were going to have a Lightning logo on the passenger side Air Bag cover. Do they?

No fix change since '01, if you want to call that a "fix".

No logo.

Thats funny ****, because my 99 sounded like a .22 going off everytime I backed up with the wheels turned.

After I traded for the current 01, I bought a set of washers. They have been in the console since April of 01.......No clunking yet!

I know what you mean Gator, before I got my Herb washers the clunk used to make people jump in parking lots, so loud and embarassing.

What abou the Lightning logo on the passenger side Air Bag cover... anybody with an 03 have it?
Or know what I talking about about?
Edit: Nevermind about the logo, I just saw it in your post Lurker. Thanks.

I know Gator, your still covered, they were Zinc plated...Glad you liked them..

After my friend made the first run for me out of steel, He said he could make them out of SS for the same price, that's why I switched. He said after thinking it over, it was easier to make them out of SS, because he had to send the steel ones out to get get them zinc plated.

I just changed my zinc plated washers out for the new SS washers a couple of weeks ago.
