the dealer got me does plugs and they installed it!!! if they sell them they should know how to install them!!!

OK, so a question from a guy in the process of installing Denso IT-22's right now... If there is a "special tool" for gapping Denso plugs will someone kindly tell us beginners what it is? I have not installed any of the new plugs yet, still getting stock ones out a little at a time.

Rumor? Thats what I was told from one of the big 3 vendors when I purchased them.

Gap checking tools include an attached tool that is used to carefully form the ground electrode up or down as appropriate. Never let anything touch the center electrode--except the gap-checking piece. Never use a 'feeler-type' gauge to check plug gaps.

If you drop a spark plug(any type), do not install it! Throw it away and save yourself future(maybe immediate?) grief.

so guys listen to this, he pulled all 8 plugs out: 4 of them the electrodes are bent, 1 the electrod is missing and three are not gaped properlly..do you think this guy needs glassess? the dealer tells me that he's there mechanic for 25 years!!!!!!WTF
