What temp does your e-fan turn on?

Question What temp does your e-fan turn on?

Just wondering at what temp does everybody's e-fan turn at.

On low speed all the time. High speed any time that the air con compressor in on. I just run low speed durring the winter. It works great. I do not run any type of an electric thermostat. I run the stock water threomostat.

i put a kit together with some hayden fans and wired it myself, but i purchased a sender from JDM separate, it turns on at 190 and off at 165 170...

It should turn on around 10 degrees higher than the thermostat. Say you have the factory 180 degree thermostat, the fan should turn on at around 190 degrees.

Note that all thermostats are actually at least 7 degrees higher than advertised.

according to my trip meter thingy it shows 79-80 deg. Celsius in 80 degree weather in the middle of traffic. Dunno how accurate that is though...

Off at 80c or 176F
