I have priced them both, and the Trenz costs almost twice as much. Is it really worth it? Those of you who have either of them have any comments or complaints? Thanks for any replies.

Trenz...all the way. Pain to install but but very sturdy and has more horizontal bars than the CW.

 

TINMAN- how did your Trenz lower grill fit? did it fit right out of the box? or did it require modification?

i put in the upper & lower Trenz grills when they first came out & the lower one fit like crap.. now the powdercoating is flaking off & i'm thinking about getting another bottom grill to make it look right.. it didn't fit in there quite right..

Clonetek, I used your install pics for reference for my install I took the bumper off though, instead of working under the truck. The bottom grill fit perfect, no grinding needed. Its a close fit, bu does not rub. I think they worked out the sizing problem.

 

I have a Stull grill and have been happy with it. I don't have a lower one for the bumper though. It's cheaper than the Trenz. I think it was around $120.00.

 

I just installed Trenz upper and lower grill in my truck. The install wasn't difficult at all. Both fit perfect with no mods to the grills. The lower grill came pre-drilled. I installed it without removing the bumper. I had to Dremel four notches in the plastic piece behind the upper grill in order to get the grill surround to sit even with the hood, but that’s all the mods I had to do.

anyone got a 01+ upper and lower stock grill they wanna trade for a 00? Or at least real cheap? Let me know. Sorry about the hijacked thread.
