Let’s take a moment to read, review, and understand all shop safety rules. First, safety pins on jack stands should be secure and in place when jack stands are being used.

And yes we were totally safe about everything

If your stupid enough to pull the handle to let the truck down on yourself, it's called "Cleansing the Gene Pool"

Are those front brackets on the correct sides of the truck? I thought the angle cut went to the front.

They fit either way and when they tilt back like that the angled part isn't so angled anymore. I think I put mine on the other way.......but if you flip em the holes still line up.

cyntax , the bars are great; i have the same ones. i went to your pictures of the installation and if you still have your instructions #7shows a picture of the back of the truck looking to the front showing the lip on the bracket.#7 and the lip of the bracket is at the rear of the vehicle. i think you have them reversed. it looks like it still lines up .

My truck has the 2" shackle drop and the 2 exhuast pipes are hitting my traction bar. It's very annoying!!!!!

You mean the rear brackets (ones on axle) should be the other way around? (left on right, right on left?)

Yah my bar hits my exhaust clamp near the tips when the truck bottoms out a little. It's just a love tap but it has already rubbed off the powdercoating in that spot. Can't hear it though...(yet )

What are the bars made out of? Hopefully that spot won't rust/weaken the bar?
