i also had the same problem with the bars coming close to the U clamp for the tips. i took of the clamps and turned the nuts facing up for alittle more clearence then also removed the hanger bracket next to the tips. i bent the bracket closed alittle more and put it back in . caused alittle more stretch in the rubber but not enough to hurt it. and i gained 3/4of a inch ,so between doing both so far it has not hit.maybe this can help.

Yes it could make a difference. With the poly bushings it could add alittle "bind" to the bar.. Just look at the bar and see if its parrallel to the frame rail. If it is, then it's no big deal, but if it's at an angle to the framerail, then we'll have together or something and fix it....

Yea yea yea.

Anyone else have problems with the passenger side bar hitting the exhaust? I'm having my exhaust adjusted tomorrow to hopefully get some more clearance between the bar and the pipes/clamps so we'll see.

Remove the u clamp, and grind off the little thingy that holds the u clamp. That should be enough. I also have the Roush racing suspension. But I soon added the Magnaflow exhaust which gained me another 2-3 inches of clearance.
