Let me guess ... Have you been told "A chip and a pulley and
you will be into the 12's, maybe even MID 12's " ???

Sorry to break your bubble bud, but after $5,000 of mods
a sixty foot of 1.89 I am still sitting at 13.02 !!!

Something Aint right if you spent 5K on mods and are running 13's either it is a uphill 1/4 mile or your truck is just really slow ( no offense) or the track you run at is like an ice rink ( where are you running)
I ran a 13.334 stock in the cool weather @ E-town in NJ and there were pleanty of trucks running mid-low 12's with just a few mods...juice not being any of them
I think you have a problem somewhere.....

Good luck

Like Brooks I got into the 12's with a 2# pulley.
( I ran 13.0x about 30 tiimes before I made it but I made it )

As a matter of fact I went 12.52 with a 2# pulley...

I know no one will believe it but its true.
I went 12.28 with a 4# pulley. Both were with VERY mild tunes on the chips.

The pictures, details, dyno etc are on my website. The 12.52 was at Cecil and the 12.28 was at Hallsville here in Texas.

The issue with these trucks is traction and weather. You could have all the mods in the world and not get good times if the track is not sticking. To get LOW in the 12's you need to get LOW in the 1.8 60 foots. If you cant get low 1.8 or 1,7 60 foots you are either over powering the track at launch or the track just wont hook .... And The track has to be decent down track as well.. I have lost ET at mid track from spinning..

Doug
