What about shorty type headers? Wouldnt those be like in between stock manifolds and long tubes? I removed all 4 cats from my L felt a difference.

If you have the money get the longtubes you won't be disapointed, It took me a while to save and it was hard to part with the cash but I love my longtubes, been on the truck for a week, the one thing I will say and it has been said but I did not listen(b/c i'm a dumbass) is if you get the JDM headers throw away the collector bolts and get some 3/8 grade 8 bolts and lockwashers, 1 1/2 inches long, the ones that come with the headers suck, I put them on and then the next day I had to loosen them to adjust my tail pipes and they were frozen on, so now I have to cut them off.

a pic of stock manifold and cats

Long Tubes

Headers installed... Thanks Doug for the pics

looks like that stock manifold restricts a lot! I can see spending $900 on long tubes
